"The timeless reflection" work, part of the "Fractals" series, evokes a well-known landscape from Bucharest (with the Parliament Palace), allowing the present to interfere in the past and in the future.
Few people know the bloody history of this great building, how it was built during the communist regime and, how many people were sacrificed in its realization. Memory is a creative process: we always choose what and how to recall events, landscapes, situations.
Travelling through time and space, physically and metaphorically, I tried to tame the chaotic processes: from precise photographical milestones to acutely affective signposts, from generic perception to personally signifiers.
